A wholly owned subsidiary of Calista Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation which was formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. Calista is the second largest of 13 Regional Corporations organized under ANCSA and has several subsidiaries in the SBAís 8(a) Business Development Program for small disadvantaged business.

Calista is owned by approximately 13,000 Yupíik, Cupíik and Athabascan shareholders with ancestral ties to Southwest Alaska. Calista is obligated to its shareholders and profits earned by its business ventures are returned for the benefit of the shareholders and their native community, in the form of dividend payments, scholarships, internships and support for various social and cultural programs to improve the quality of life of its native people.

As an Alaskan Native 8(a) certified company, Tunista Services is committed to providing the high quality of services to the military and other federal and civilian agencies.

The advantages of contracting with an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) are:
